The Aroma of Fall from Your Kitchen Stovetop
One of my favorite things about this time of the year is the wonderful scent that fills the air. There’s nothing better than the smell of fresh pumpkin bread in the oven and a nice warm cup of apple cider. However, you don’t have to have something in the oven at all times in order to enjoy the crisp aroma of fall.
What you will need:
Fill a small saucepan with water and bring to a boil.
Add apple (cut into quarters), four cinnamon sticks, handful of whole cloves, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Boil the ingredients together for a few minutes, then turn down the heat to simmer.
Add water as needed, usually every 30-45 minutes.
